I'm not sure if I'm losing steam with the end of the season...
or completely demotivated by yesterday's embarrassment...
or just recovering from the exhaustion of the big move last weekend.
But I can't think of a single thing to say about the Brewers.
Except that today can't possibly as bad as yesterday.
It can't. Can it?
Try Ghost Town, the new Ricky Gervais movie.
It'll remind you of the Brewers (so many people moving aimlessly around having not quite achieved their potential), but with a guaranteed happier ending.

Oh wait. To your question of whether it could be worse than Friday....well, it was. Sigh. You can feel a general malaise settling over Milwaukee, can't you?
2.5 games back in the wild card.
7 games to go.
3 of those games are at Wrigley.
I think we're all better off going to the movies this afternoon....

It can.
I sit here watching with nothing but fear.
Fear of taking CC out of the game (he's working on three days rest, after all - and is expected to do so one or two more times).
Fear of taking a lead into the late innings.
Fear of seeing it slip away.
Again.
Fear of seeing our season slip away.
Again.
This team sure knows how to rip your heart out, doesn't it?
