Boy did THAT feel better. Coming off the Cubs series, a shutout win over Atlanta sure felt good last night.
I missed watching the game live, but enjoyed it so much on Tivo that I stayed up staring at the TV past midnight...even once it was clear we had the win.
It definitely felt different than the last couple days, when it hurt just to look at the field and the game seemed lost pretty much from square one. You could sense the Crew was in a totally different head-space.
And, I must admit, I savored the Cubs' shutout loss yesterday, too. I feel like sending a big, happy "thank you" card to everyone in Pittsburgh.
Lots of games to go, of course, but it sure feels like everything's a lot more right with the world this morning.
